What we collect
When you contact us by phone, text, email, Instagram, or a form on this site, we collect what you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, your child’s grade, and what kind of help you are looking for.
Inquiry form
When you send an inquiry, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email if you give one, whether you’d like a call or a text, the times that work for you, and anything you choose to share about your child and your message. We use it only to contact you about tutoring. Inquiries are stored in our booking system for up to 180 days and then deleted. A spam check from Cloudflare (Turnstile) runs on the form.
Online booking
When you book online, we collect the details on the booking form: your name, email, phone, your child’s grade and subject, the zip code where you’d like to meet, and, for home sessions, your address. We use the zip code only to estimate travel time and apply our travel policy. Bookings are stored securely in our booking system, added to our private calendar, and confirmed by email. A spam check from Cloudflare (Turnstile) runs on the booking form.
How we use it
- To reply to you and schedule sessions
- To plan tutoring and share progress updates with you
- To send invoices and session reminders
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
We use a few service providers to run this site and the business: Cloudflare (website hosting, the booking system, spam protection, and visitor statistics), Google Fonts (the site’s typeface), Resend (booking and inquiry emails), Yahoo (our calendar and email), and our email provider. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
This site is written for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through this site, email us and we will delete it.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep student information only as long as needed to provide tutoring and keep basic business records. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you or your child at any time.
